MARCH 3 – APRIL 15, 2016

The artists of CAW tackle the theme of place and history in a new exhibit titled “Landmark.” The exhibit was conceived as a way to commemorate Fort Hayes’ 33-year history of supporting national and local artists and arts organizations.

The exhibit will feature work from over 50 CAW member artists that will represent a wide range of disciplines including painting, sculpture, installation, photography, ceramics, and performance.

Columbus Alive, Arts Preview: Creative Arts of Women Present “Landmark”

Broad & High, WOSU Television
Landmark is primarily an exhibition about place; its history and importance. Works by the members of CAW (Creative Arts of Women) challenge the viewer to consider what serves as a guide or beacon in his or her life; what is the watershed moment after which everything changed. Broad & High shares how some of the artists interpreted the theme, with additional perspective by a local historian. View segment.
